The Sanctuary Rock Gym is located a few blocks from the Monterey Bay in Sand City, California. We are conveniently located near both
north and south-bound exits off of Hwy 1. The directions and map below should get you to our door, but if not, please give us a call
for additional info.
From the North: (red arrow on the map)
Exit Hwy 1 at the first Sand City exit, for Del Monte and Fremont Blvds. Go straight through the first light, following Fremont Blvd.,
and turn right onto Del Monte Blvd. Follow Del Monte Blvd to Tioga Ave, the second light, and go right. Cross the railroad tracks and
go left onto California Ave at the 4-way stop-sign. Follow California Ave around a right turn, and turn right onto East Ave. We're on
the right side, halfway up the block, just look for our logo on the building (as shown in the photo at the bottom of the page).
From the South: (green arrow on the map)
Exit Hwy 1 at the first Sand City exit, for Canyon Del Rey Blvd, and go right. Turn left at the second light onto Del Monte Blvd.
Follow Del Monte Blvd several blocks, and turn left at the 2nd light onto Contra Costa St. Go straight for several blocks, through
the 4-way stop-sign, and right onto California Ave. Follow California several blocks, through one stop sign, and then left onto
East Ave. We're on the right side, halfway up the block, just look for our logo on the building (as shown in the photo at the bottom
of the page).
There's an alternate route from the south (blue arrow) that follows the highway on the bay-side. There are fewer traffic signals,
so it can sometimes be faster, but beware the speedtrap midway along the frontage road, and the stop-sign at Tioga Ave, as these are
popular spots for the Sand City police.
We're located in the middle of a row of warehouses, with a Marble cutting shop on our right. The front of the building is shown below.
