Belay On - The most important safety issue in rock climbing is the act of belaying. Belaying is the act of managing the rope to prevent the climber from falling to the ground. Our "Belay On" class is required for all new climbers aged 14 or older who have no climbing experience and wish to climb with ropes or assist a climber on the ropes. Learn the necessary safety skills to be certified to belay at SRG. Personal responsibility and safe climbing practices are emphasized.
