Birthday Parties Looking for a great place to have a Birthday Party? At the Sanctuary Rock Gym we have had hundreds of B-day parties for kids ages 4 to 104. Climbing is a great way to celebrate your birthday with friends and family, and a great way to work off that cake too! We will reserve our upstairs Party Deck to use as your parties' basecamp. The deck has two large picnic style tables with plenty of room to set up the cake, pizza and presents, and offers a great vantage point to watch all the action.

HOW MUCH: Birthday parties of 6-20 are $16.00/climber. Equipment rental package is included in the per-head price (no charge for spectators). (Belay class fees are in addition to the above fees)

WHAT YOU GET: Parties include Kids Rental Gear Package (Shoes and Harness), 2.5 hours of full access climbing/bouldering and use of the upstairs Party Deck. This time can be broken up any way you please to accommodate cake, presents and climbing. Additional time over the first 2.5 hours will be billed at $25/per half-hour and must be reserved at the time you make your reservation. Parties of 10 or more receive Auto-Belay privileges, which will take the place of 1-2 Belayers*.

RESERVATIONS: Our facility is open to all climbers during the day and evening so you will be climbing with other gym members and guests during your party. We will notify you at the time of booking regarding any time conflicts or other events taking place before or after your party. A $50 deposit or a Credit Card number are required to hold your reservation, this is only refundable with a 48-hour cancellation notice. After-hours/Private arrangements are also available.

PARTIES FOR AGE 13 AND UNDER: You will need certified Belayers* for your party. Belayers can be parent volunteers or you may hire an SRG staff member to Belay for your guests for $40 each for a 2-hour climbing period. Parents who are going to belay will be taught a class at the beginning of your party once the kids start using the ropes. Cost for the class is $9.00 ($5 for the class and $4 for the harness rental).

Adult Groups & Parties Looking for a great team building or R&R activity for your group? SRG offers great group rates. Advanced reservations are required if you want to use the party deck.

HOW MUCH: Adult groups (14 years or older) of 10 climbers or less are $21/climber or $18/climber for groups of 11 or more. Price includes rental gear, 3 hours of climbing time, and use of the party deck (no charge for spectators). A special group rate for the Belay Class is available at $25 for 8 or fewer climbers, $35 for 9-13 climbers, $45 for 14-19 climbers, or $55 for 20 or more climbers. This is a one-time group fee. Must be 14 or older to take the Belay Class (Belay Class is required for all new climbers 14 or older).

*Belayers must be 14 years or older in order to be certified to belay at SRG. You will be given a belay orientation once the children are harnessed up and ready to start using the ropes. (1 Belayer is needed for every 3 - 5 climbers)

WAIVERS: All party guests MUST have a release waiver on file at SRG in order to participate. Kids under the age of 18 must have a waiver filled out by their parent or legal guardian. No Exceptions!! We will provide you with release waivers to send out with your invitations or you can download a copy of the waiver in PDF format.
